NEW in March! – The successful Stella’s Restaurant in Hartland 3 Corners has just closed and in April in its place the Hartland Diner will be open – 7 days a week for lunch and breakfast (served all day!). Don’t despair about Stella’s though as they are preparing to open a restaurant in Windsor serving dinner in the late Summer.

The New Year started off with lots of snow in Vermont – check on the status here: http://www.skivermont.com
NOTE: With all the new snow Sugarbush Farm (www.sugarbushfarm.com) is giving sleigh rides again this year. Here are the details:

Rides are only given with advance reservation- call Sugarbush from 9 to 5 to make a reservation- preferably the day before.

Rides are about 40 minutes long going out in the maple sugar woods where we give folks an explanation of how trees are tapped and sap collected

Charge is $50.00 for 1 to 5 passengers in the same reservation group, with $10.00 extra for each person over 5. Children under 2 free. Credit cards are accepted.

Fee also includes hot drinks and cheese and maple syrup samples inside the Sugarbush Farm cheese tasting room.

Rides are given between 11 am and 3 pm.

Please remember Sugarbush is on a “back ” road so best if folks at least have snow tires and some days when snow covered and not sanded 4 wheel or all wheel drive. Maple sugaring starts in March!
