Mud season was short this year and just the right amount of warmth, sunshine and rain have brought out the blooms in Vermont. Flower markets are opening and people are rushing around to get those gardens planted in this land of a short growing season. Farmer’s Markets will be opening and crafts and fresh foods will be available. I’ll up date these sites as soon as I hear more ……but for now:

If you’re at the cabin in May and early summer and want some LOVELY plants walk over to my neighbor’s – Butternut Hill Farm with her greenhouse grown plants – they’ll sell out quickly as she’s known for having the nicest hardiest plants around. Check her sign out front for the days/hours open.
