May 23 from 8-1pm – Woodstock Garden Sale in downtown Woodstock on the lawn of the Norman Williams Library – Annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, herbs and vegetables.
May 23-24 from 10 – 5pm- Billings Farm & Museum host a sheep shearing weekend. Actual shearing takes place at 11, 2 and 4pm. Info also on turning fleece into yarn www.billingsfarm.org
May 23 – 4pm – Concert of piano works by Beethoven at St. James Episcopal Church in Woodstock – admission free
May 23 at 10:30 – Memorial Day parade in Woodstock
May 23 – Sat. afternoon Civil War Encampment on the back lawn of the Dana House Museum in Woodstock.
May 29 through Oct. 26 – Woman’s Work: The Artistry of the Women of the Cornish Colony, Cornish Colony Museum, Windsor, VT – only 10 miles from the cabin. www.cornishcolonymuseum.org
