          – New Farmer’s Market in Hartland at the Public Library on Fridays 4-7pm starting June 4 offering agricultural products, prepared foods, crafts and music. Special opening on May 30th at 1:30 during the Hartland Farm Fest.

June 12 – 9-noon – Hartland, VT – Local naturalist will lead participants in a one-mile walk through Eshqua Bog. The bog hosts an assortment of wildflowers in woodland and wetland habitats. The striking display of the show lady’s slippers in bloom is a beautiful sight. The walk is $7 and registration is requested by calling 802 359-5000 x 223. The Eshqua Bog is on Garvin Hill Rd. – about 1.5 mi. from the cabin and is free for wandering during other times.

June 27 – East Thetford, VT – Strawberry Festival at Cedar Circle Farm. Vermont strawberries and local organic agriculture are the locus. Horse-drawn wagon rides, kids crafts and games and live music will be there as well as a food concession offering local foods.

June 29 – Hanover, NH – Dartmouth College – Hopkins Center for the Arts – LA-33(Bogota’s nueva salsa) Hanover Green – free outdoor concert with 12 piece orchestra – 5pm
