It’s still early to know all the happenings this month so check back as I continually update this list but here’s what’s advertised so far that is nearby:

Woodstock Village is planning monthly Saturday night celebrations this summer starting in June. The first Saturday of the month beginning June 6 shops will stay open until 8pm augmented by live music, art, demonstrations, dining and socializing. Stay tuned for more details!

Vermont Days – June 13-14 Free admission to all State-owned Historic Sites and day use at all State Parks. At the Coolidge Site in Plymouth there will be horse-drawn wagon rides from 1-4pm 

Quechee Hot Air Balloon Festival – June 19-21 – This is the 30th year for this colorful event which combines arts and crafts, food, bands, comedy acts, train rides AND of course lots of unique and colorful balloons that not only take to the sky but if the weather cooperates they are tethered in the evening with a balloon glow. – Only 12 mi from the cabin    www.quecheeballoonfestival.com

Wagon Ride Weekend – June 20-21-Horse drawn wagon rides thru the Billings Farm  www.billingsfarm.org

60th annual Strawberry Festival – June 24 – 5pm to dusk – Camp Plymouth State Park on Echo Lake off Rt. 100 in Plymouth. Rain or shine – Free

Brown Bag Concert Series starts June 25 on the Green in Woodstock. All concerts begin at noon. www.pentanglearts.org   or 457-3981
