First and foremost is food! I enjoy breakfast at Stella’s in BG’s plaza in Hartland 3 Corners. It’s inexpensive, friendly and they’ll pretty much make whatever you want! Second choice for breafast is Woodstock’s The Creamery – friendly with just a tad higher pricetag but very Vermont in its selections – my favorite is the Bagel w/ melted Vermont Cheddar Cheese!

I rarely eat lunch out but if I have company I like to take them to the Long Trail Brewery where you can sit out on the deck and look at the lazy brook and enjoy either a sampler of their brews or my favorite lager with a delicious cheeseburger and fries. If I want Pizza then I have to go to Firestone’s in Quechee for their wood-fired oven flat bread pizza – lots of different choices but I like the Mediterranean with olives!

Dinner is hard since there are so many restaurants I like – My favorite is in West Woodstock at the Lincoln Inn – Mangowood Restaurant where I either try one of their specials of the night or their whole fried fish which is a delight to see AND eat.  Kedron Valley Inn in S. Woodstock, Keepers in Reading and Prince & the Pauper in Woodstock are other favorites with varying price ranges.
